Child Evangelism Fellowship of Snyder & Union Counties, Inc. (CEFSU) is a non-profit, interdenominational, children’s Bible teaching ministry. We are affiliated with Child Evangelism Fellowship of Eastern PA, Inc.
CEFSU is a faith-based ministry and is supported by contributions from individuals, businesses, churches, and church related groups.
The Purpose of CEFSU
We exist to reach the children with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, to help the Christian child grow in their walk with the Lord, and to train Christian adults how to teach children.
We accomplish our purpose through a teaching ministry which includes Bible lessons, Bible verses, Gospel songs, and missionary stories. The children are encouraged to have personal daily devotions, to regularly attend church, and to have an active interest in missions.
It is our desire to see the children that we are able to reach through our ministries grow in their walk with the Lord. Therefore, we seek to find a local church for the unchurched children to attend.  Since, CEFSU acts as an “arm” of the local church, part of our ministry is to provided free professional training to Sunday school teachers.  The teachers can choose topics that will meet their specific needs such as, “How to Lead a Child to Christ” and “Class Room Discipline.”
For some children, participation in a CEFSU activity is the only spiritual and religious training they will receive in their lifetime.
